We had the pleasure of hearing from Arthur H. Kopelman, Ph.D. at Thursday's meeting. Arhur is president of Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island, a SUNY Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus, & Professor Emeritus of Science at SUNY-FIT, and a Lecturer (part-time) at SUNY Stony Brook, SoMAS. Arthur's current projects are Photo-ID of harbor seals at a haul-out site in Cupsogue Beach Park, Westhampton Beach NY,' and Photo-ID of fin and humpback whales in the waters off Montauk, NY, USA. We are so very lucky to have Arthur in our West Sayville Community and thank him for taking the time out of his day for his informative presentation.
