Peter Fertig, President and Founder of the Bob Feller Act of Valor Foundation was our Luncheon speaker this week, September 14th. Peter, a fellow Rotarian from the Ronkonkoma club spoke about honoring our service members and how important it is teaching the legacy of the greatest generation to the youngest generation on the lessons of citizenship, service to one's country and sacrifice in times of great national need. Beginning in 2020, The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation organized fundraising Walks and 5K Runs to increase awareness of Military Suicide Prevention and raise funds to educate our military children.
